  1. The mean competence scores of students who performed tasks of giving oxygen above the median of 30, IV cannulations above the median of 25, urinary catheterization above the median of 20, and NG tube insertion above the median of 15 were significantly larger than that of students with task performance below the corresponding medians. (p < 0.031). Similarly, the mean competence scores of students who performed tasks of wound suturing more than the median of 10, venipuncture more than the median of 10, and abdominal paracentesis more than the median of 6 were significantly larger than that of students with task performance below the corresponding medians (p < 0.011) (Table 7)
