Motivation/Effort Investment

Positive effect

It (feedback) makes us just concentrate, actually put more effort into improving ourselves (S40)

Negative effect

It’s just very discouraging especially if the way it's phrased like puts you down because then it makes you feel like you're not working hard enough or doing your job or whatever,, and then instead of being motivated to work harder, you might be discouraged (S16)
