Nearly all (96%) doctors know a ‘MUST’ assessment must always be done on admission and weekly thereafter (78%), even in obese patients (100%).

51% of the doctors know the true purpose of the ‘MUST’ screening and 52% how prevalent malnutrition is on admission in the UK.

About 34% of the doctors can calculate a ‘MUST’ score themselves to verify its accuracy and 20% know where to find it in the notes in their own hospital.
