Students were either from a traditional, discipline-based undergraduate medical programme (TC, n = 30) or an integrated, competency-based undergraduate medical programme (CC, n = 30) of the same medical faculty. The number of relevant diagnostic tests is based on a comparison with the selections made by medical specialists
