EBM group – the experimental group of students taking the Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) course in year 3 of the curriculum, IQR – interquartile range, EBM I and II course – EBM-related courses in year 1 or 2 of the medical curriculum, respectively. Distribution of gender in the groups was similar to that of the USSM student population [34]
