From: Fitness-to-practice concerns in rural undergraduate medical education: a qualitative study
Section 5 of the National Law defines ‘impairment’ when the student: | ‘…has a physical or mental impairment, disability, condition or disorder (including substance abuse or dependence) that detrimentally affects or is likely to detrimentally affect the student’s capacity to undertake clinical training: |
a) As part of the approved program of study in which the student is enrolled; or | |
b) Arranged by an education provider |
