  1. Data are expressed as the number of courses offered in a given year as a percentage of total courses offered in each program, where n = number of courses surveyed per degree program (as identified in Table 4).
  2. Note: In Australia, basic science and nursing programs are of 3 years duration; Pharmacy programs are 4 years; and Medicine programs can be 4, 5 or 6 years, with undergraduate programs of longer duration. Later years are likely to be at Honours level or equivalent.
